Check that the Assay app embed is enabled in your theme, or that you have added the "EU legal guarantee notice" block to your product template. Both are reachable from the app's setup screen.
The notice follows your storefront's language automatically. If a shopper is browsing in a language the EU does not publish the notice in, Assay falls back to the language you choose in the app's settings.
The label is only lawful for a producer's commercial guarantee of durability that is free of charge, covers the whole good rather than a component, and runs longer than two years. Assay will not render a label unless the duration, brand and model identifier are all set and the duration is more than two years.
No, and neither can we. Annex I of the regulation says none of the notice's elements can be edited. Assay ships the artwork exactly as published by the EU.
In some languages this is a defect in the EU's own artwork, not in your store. The QR codes on the Danish, Finnish, Polish, Slovenian and Swedish notices fail to decode in every scanner we tried, and a couple of others are borderline, because the published image draws the code's squares at uneven widths. Assay shows the artwork byte for byte as the Official Journal published it, so it neither causes this nor can fix it: the regulation forbids editing the notice.
Shoppers lose nothing. Every QR code on the notice points to the EU's guarantee pages, and Assay prints the same address as a link under the notice: europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees. A larger notice also scans more easily, so if you have made it narrow, try a wider maximum width in Assay's settings.
